You know who gets no respect, at least in the MCU?
Yeah, that's right. Kang. Kang The Conqueror.
Sure, he's not as shiny as Ultron, or as "oooh, scary" as Johnny-come-lately Thanos...
...but Kang has been bedeviling the Avengers since long before those others were a gleam in anyone's eyes.
Yeah, I know, the timey-wimey multiple identity stuff makes people's heads hurt. But that's the beauty of the MCU--you can introduce him fresh, without any of that baggage. And once you do that, the premise is easy and appealing--warlord from the future who wants to conquer the past by beating Earth's Mightiest Heroes!
So I'm hoping that Avengers: Infinity War ends with Thanos being beaten, but then Kang showing up to reveal he's been the master manipulator this whole time, leading into Avengers IV: The Quest For Peace (or whatever).
'Nuff said!

Unfortunately, it appears that, due to Kang being connected with Rama Tut and being descended from Doctor Doom and/or Reed Richards, that the movie rights to Kang are held by Fox and not Marvel. (Yeah, it doesn't really make much sense, but... well, there's a lot about these licensing deals that don't make much sense sometimes.)
I think we should be cautious when judging who has rights to what (unless, of cours, you've got specific information I've missed). One would think the Watcher and Ronan and the Kree, hell, the Inhumans themselves might be Fox's by that standard, and they're not. I've yet to hear anyone reveal an authoritative list...
Although the whys are speculation, Fox holding the rights to Kang came from James Gunn in regards to including him in Guardians of the Galaxy 2: https://www.facebook.com/jgunn/posts/10152713350681157?comment_id=10152713556391157&reply_comment_id=10152713636106157&total_comments=11&comment_tracking={%22tn%22%3A%22R9%22}
