Friday Night Fights--Perfidy Proves Superiority Style!!
This week in Friday Night Fights, not only does Thor fight an imposter--he fights a fake imposter!!
Explanation: Iron Man has gone beserk, and Thor has been called in to stop him.
Well, it turns out that Iron Man has been possessed by the gem of Doctor Spectrum (which is really a Skrull traitor named Krimonn who was punished by being turned into an intelligent jewel with great powers...man, this is complicated).
Even more so, because [SPOILER ALERT] that's not Tony Stark in the armor--it's Eddie March, ex-boxer pal of Happy Hogan, who had briefly replaced Stark as Shellhead, until it was revealed that March had a massive blood clot in his brain that could kill him at any time.
So, Thor versus fill-in Iron Man possessed by evil alien jewel. Ready? Let's go!!
And...he's done. Highlights on Sportscenter at 11.
Spacebooger probably could have taken this guy down, too...but Thor sounds so awesome when he does it!
Mike Friedrich, George Tuska and Mike Esposito find a way to have the crap be beaten out of the title characters without actually having Tony Stark suffer the indignity in Iron Man #66 (1974).
Now is the time for you to go and vote for my fight. Why? If I get enough votes, maybe we can get Thor to beat the crap out of the actual Iron Man. That's win-win!! So vote!!!
