See, the Gotham City heroes, getting tired of being beaten up by Batman and company, have gone to find greener pastures to exploit--Riverdale!!
Siren's lovely voice has enabled the blackguards to control the adults, but the town's teenagers are immune to her charms.
So, the Joker has decided to try and brainwash the kid most likely (in his view) to join in his hijnks--Jughead!
But our dear Mr. Jones is...unimpressed.
Dude, Jughead's not a joiner...

Manic Jughead Monday--Field Of Millinery!!
It turns out that Jughead is actually a pretty good baseball fielder!
Unfortunately, spoilsport Weatherbee has come to the big game!
Now, before you get too mad at the principal, most leagues do have rules out variations in uniforms, so he's not completely out of line.
But making Juggy wear a normal cap has disastrous consequences:
It turns out that losing is enough of a motivation to make Weatherbee relent!
And so...
But the old law of unintended consequences rears its ugly head:
D'oh!!

Manic Jughead Monday--The Oedipal Dance Of Jughead Jones!!
Jughead isn't going to the big dance!!
Why??
Yeah, teasing your kid about his dating life may not be the best way to go, parents.
Well, that went better than expected!!
However...
Oh, Jughead is going to need sooo many years of therapy...

Manic Jughead Monday--The Gullible Electorate Of Riverdale High!!
Archie is running for class president--and Jughead is his campaign manager!!
And apparently. Jughead has quite a way with a slogan:
Because so many 1970s students said, "By Cracky!"
I mean, they're fine signs and all...but apparently, they're much more effective than you'd think amongst Riverdale students!
Really? Because of one negative campaign poster?
So, you really believe that you should vote for Archie because his name starts with an A?!?!
Let me tell you--these signs are so effective...
...that they convinced Reggie's own campaign manager to vote against him!!
I this explains why the country is in so much trouble these days...

Manic Jughead Monday--So It Doesn't Stand For Hope?!?
Today, the solution to one of the biggest mysteries in comic book history.
The moths have gotten to Jughead's favorite sweater:
That raises the question: Why the "S," Juggy? It doesn't stand for Riverdale, or Jughead, or Percival, or...
Bless you, Jughead.

Chivalry Is Dead!!
It never pays to be a gentleman...at least not in Riverdale!
Sulpher and molasses?!?
And the whole thing could have been avoided if Riverdale just had functional storm drains...

Manic Labor Triple Day Overtime--White Slavery In Riverdale?!?
OK, this can't actually be legal, or enforceable, or even advisable, can it?
But, no, it's an official Riverdale High event.
And the high school gym teacher/coach is even officiating.
So, yeah, kind of problematic.
For those who care:
Betty steps in on Veronica & Archie's planned rendezvous, so she can have Archie all to herself for a week...
...Veronica thinks she found Archie, but it's really Jughead. But young Jones is fine with it, because now he can avoid Big Ethel...
...and amazingly, no one files a lawsuit against the school's forced dating scheme!!
