Seriously, with his power set, Crusher Creel should be ruling the world right now. But, nope, his Achilles heel is his brain.
Take, for example, the time he's fight Thor in downtown New York City. And Creel is winning, until Thor decides to "flee":

This is actually one of my favorites... completely improbable, and yet ridiculously brilliant.
Ever since that waster fight 'absorb the wrong thing by accident' has become the go to device to beat Creel.
Thor's expression in that last panel is priceless. "Verily, thou art a dumbass, Creel."
I guess he's not so hot on sensing just what he's absorbing? Must be torture walking down the street. "Gum, gum, candy wrapper, gum... *sniff sniff* Aw...!"
