This Guy Might Have Made The Fantastic Four Movie More Palatable!
And then there was that time that the FF fought a pirate...
See, old Sub-Mariner villain Captain Barracuda has stolen Namor's magical monster summoning horn. And while the undersea beasties distract Namor, the FF and the authorities, Barracuda goes pillaging...
But, as inevitably happens on Talk Like A Pirate Day, Barracuda goes a little bit nutty:
Still, he's not too tough, as Sue takes him out all by her lonesome, despite his pirate ravings...

Have him be the traitorous hired lapdog of the *rarely-seen* Dr. Doom (to preserve his mystery & increase his menace), plus throw in the entire "pirate aesthetic" for the theme of the movie by including the time-travelling 'Ben Grimm Was Blackbeard' plot to send our heroes & Barracuda back in time & I think you've got everything you need to reboot the Fantastic Four franchise & re-invigorate the stale ideas currently being used by the studios at their very concept! :D ie: you never know *what* or *where* things will take them next, whether it's the nega-verse, the micro-verse, back in time to pirate land, or the dark side of the moon, or the far side of the sun, or beyond, etc. & all on the big screen, too! :)
...U have a winner here, snell :D "It isn't enough that these guys have powers & abilities far beyond normal men, we've got to see them pretending to be *real-life* pirates in all their swashbuckling glory in order to save the day!" :D
Srsly, i *love* the thought of seeing this style of FF movie on-screen :) four movies in & we should be able to say that we've got a collective unified "franchise" for this series (even if not strictly continuous, think 'James Bond') which, unfortunately, we don't :(
