Anyroad, what I wanted to point out here is the whole "Spidey's gay" subtext that pops up every now and then (with much less frequency than Batman or Superman, though) and even occurs between Spidey and the Sentry in their first meeting (via SNL apparently: "You're not so bad yourself", "Both pretending not to be gay") and between Spidey and Daredevil (in the daily newspaper comic strip: "Daredevil's got a great bachelor life here in San Fran"), among other places.
In this case, it's the hilarious reference to Archie *himself*(!) being caught up in Peter's homosexual web-lines: "Archie's a swinger, isn't he?".

Who wrote the answer to this letter? Which editor was it? Whoever it was, he knew his characters anyways :P
