Jeez, Thor really fell apart like wet cardboard when he lost his hammer in those days, didn't he? I imagine Sif might have something to say along the following lines:
"Art thou thunder god or merest mouse? Didst thou lose thy golden apples alongside Mjolnir? Fie! The youngest Asgardian child doth not whine so shamefully! Mayhap I can find some raiment in mine own wardrobe that wouldst suit thee better than that of Asgard's finest warrior!"
