Manic Monday--Remember What Now?

Well, it's November 5th, and that means it's Benedict Arnold Day John Wilkes Booth Day Guy Fawkes Day. Seriously, England, are you so short of holidays you need to celebrate treasonous assassins?

Anyway, there will doubtless be a lot of this seen today...

But here in America, perhaps this is the mask we should be wearing:

Yup, I'm declaring 11/5 to be Guy Gardner Day here in America!!

Now all we need is some ridiculously poorly written piece of doggerel for people to go around saying...

Meanwhile, I suggest that Canada make today Guy LaFleur Day...

The rest of you countries out there will have to find your own Guys for your November holidays.

Hey, some of us over here in Britain are commiserating the failure of the plot and the continued existence of an hereditary monarchy in the 21st Century.

Of course, had they succeeded, I'd be grumbling about a Catholic monarchy.

These's no pleasing me.

Remember, remember, the fifth of November...it absolutely SHOULD be about Guy Gardner!

Colour me crazy pedantic, but its Guy Fawkes Night. There is no Guy Fawkes Day.

Encyclopedia Britannica disagrees with you, Jay, as does the British Embassy in DC.
