Friday Night Fights--Wonder Etta Style!!

Today's Friday Night Fights will take a little bit of set-up.

Etta Candy's boyfriend, congressional aide Howard Huckabee, totally has the wrong idea about Etta:

Worse, the fool has the bad form to say that in front of a super-villain!

And Dr. Psycho is involved, too, with a device called the Ecto-Plasmic Extractor, which...well, I'll let him tell you!

Captain Wonder? Yeesh.

And then, because comics, Angle Man shows up...and everybody starts fighting!

Fortunatey, Howard proves that even idiots can have an occasional good idea:

So...

Wonder Woman shows up, with our fight already in progess!

Thanks for the help, princess!

POW!!!

But Etta does find out that there is one downside to the whole super-hero business:

D'oh!!

Spacebooger would like you to know that Silver Swan was involved in the whole fracas (Etta took her down off-screen--boo!), and the whole magillah was set up by The Monitor, because the DC Universe was a crazy place in 1985.

Etta Candy beats up 4 super-villains (with a little help from her friend) in Wonder Woman #323 (1985), by Dan Mishkin and Don Heck

Now is the time for you to go and vote for my fight! Why!! Come on, Etta Candy got her moment of glory! Show your appreciation! Now, go and vote!!!

I remember that, it was great fun. The final years of Wonder Woman pre-Crisis were inventive and enjoyable.

This comic should be made into a movie. When was it written? 1984?
