Thrill-O-Rama Monday #7--Jigsaw!!

We conclude our look at Harvey's short-lived line of 60s super-heroes with...

Despite the puzzle motif, he just stretches (again, we've got the derivativeness...). Astronaut, moon-crash, space aliens fix him as best they could, "bio-tape," he can stretch all his limbs, yada yada. But he's not "a man of a thousand parts," just one really stretchy part...

Unlike the DC and Marvel universes, however, Harvey Earth citizens were just too freaked out by rubbery limbs, so Jigsaw went off to live in space, and have space-adventures:

And, like all the rest of the Thriller line, Jiggy was cancelled. Oddly enough, though...

...in 1988 Ocean Comics came up with a hero with the exact same name and motto (Man Of A Thousand Parts). Apparently no relation to the earlier Jigsaw, this guy actually was made up of pieces. And then this guy was revived for an ongoing by Redbud Studios for an ongoing title in 2009.

But the Harvey Jigsaw? Lost to the mists of time...

The modern Mr. Jigsaw actually made his debut back in 1983 as a Charlton Comics character in Scary Tales No. 38.
