Manic Monday Triple Overtime--Jughead Jones, Old Tyme Prospecter?!?

Archie and Reggie are both running for class president!!

Jughead is Archie's campaign manager, and he keeps putting up swell posters!

Wrong, Reggie. Apparently, the sheeple of Riverdale are easily swayed by by campaign advertising:

Yet, there does seem to be one odd aspect to Jughead's campaign sloganeering:

"By Cracky"!?!?!? 

Really? Is Jughead some sort of Gabby Hayes throwback? Or Walter Brennan? Do the kids or Riverdale really go for that kind of lingo, consarnit? Had the Archie writers tumbled onto some hot new trend of youth reviving 1880s slang?

Probably not.

Still, one wishes we could see more posters by Jughead, using "Oll Korrect" or "Remember The Maine"!
