One of my favorite creative teams of 70s was Thomas/Trimpe/Severin. I hate to use a word like synergy, but goddamnit, if there was ever a reason to, it's for their run on the Incredible Hulk.
Ooh, I had that Doom two-parter in a Treasury edition, and would love to read it again. Hulk just owns Doom, in front of his girl Valeria, but Doom just refuses to admit defeat. Not in any sort of noble way, just being contrary.
