So, you're the Puppet Master, and you're itching to find a new cats paw to throw against the accursed Fantastic Four. Well, today luck is on your side!!
(Odd Puppet Master costume by Gene Colan (as Austin Adams) and Vince Coletta)
All right!! You've managed to control one of the most powerful beings on Earth. If you immediately launch an attack on the FF, without getting distracted, this just might work...
No, no, Phillip...without getting distracted!!
No, you moron, you don't need wealth. You control Namor the frakkin' Sub-Mariner!! Just have him give you some of his great sea wealth, and attack the FF with his awesome self and some big-ass sea monsters!!
Anyway, Namor does indeed rob the bank...
And here we get exhibit #527 on why the Puppet Master is a blithering idiot:
D'oh!!!
Maybe if you had specified cash in the first place. After all it's not like an Atlantean would be an expert of negotiable and non-negotiable instruments of the surface world!!
So, of course, Masters does send Namor back, to the very same bank, which is now crawling with police and army since a super-powerful mutant just robbed it. Fighting ensues, Namor ends up getting dumped in the ocean, which snaps the Puppet Master's control.
Puppet Master--full-time loser, and crappy dresser.
