Ahhh, The Avengers (swinging British version) is comfort food for the soul. Even Spacebooger must concede that, when he refers to Diana Rigg as Mrs. Peel, she is always "THE woman." Oh, Mrs. James Bond...Gold Key's John Steed And Emma Peel #1 (a.k.a. Avengers #1) is from 1968, and is reprinted from British strips with the creators unknown, although they must be swinging, right?? Sadly, this was the only (American) issue...
Now, you simply must vote for this fight as the best this week, or I shall be forced to remind you how ghastly and abysmal the 1998 Avengers movie was. And nobody wants that, do they??
