If you recall, district attorney Brian Butler was so successful in his extracurricular activities as crime-fighting Mr. Scarlet, he was laid off as a prosecutor--because there wasn't enough crime left to prosecute!!

So he and his adopted sun Pinky--his real name was Pinkerton!!--continued the outlaw-smashing, until they burned through Brian's family fortune. They were then usually broke and starving, often taking on odd jobs or following crazy get-rich-quick schemes to support the super-hero lifestyle.

So...

And how does Pinky plan to hit the big time?

Ah, yes, a dance marathon!!

Of course, someone robs the box office...

...and Pinky helps Scarlet roust the villain during a break...

Obviously, he's DQ'd...

...and we're left with Brian massaging his son's blistered feet!!
