I know it's not a Marvel or DC title. And I know it's most certainly NOT a children's title. But from Irredeemable #6:
I never, ever, EVER thought I see a beer ad in a comic book.
Especially a Japanese beer.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. I mean, I'm thrilled BOOM! can make money from an unusual sponsor, because comics that are profitable are a good thing. But on the other hand, how long until some moron decides to cause a massive media kerfluffle by "exposing" that people are "using comic books to sell alcohol to children??"
Plus, I don't even think it's that good a beer. Now, if it were Lion Stout...
