I mean, what was Paul Cornell thinking? Mature emotions from committed couples plays so poorly for that coveted 18-34 male demographic. I'm sure the DiDio/Johns/Lee troika is chewing out Cornell for not getting with the program, when the company line is that Lois and Clark's relationship is really truly important, "not just as it exists currently."

The speculation that DC is hedging their bets against losing Superman is valid. And making all their characters look like Image Elseworlds is a mistake.
