Always remember this:
Even as a young man, Ricardo had a way with the ladies
He could pull off any type of fashion...
...and still kick your ass:
Oh, he knew he had that certain something:
And even in his 60s, and dressed in a ridiculous costume, he still had the ladies, and we loved him for it:
Vaya con Dios, Ricardo. Vaya con Dios.

Hi. First time commenter, but have been lurking for about a month. I've enjoyed your blog very much.
I just wanted to point out two things:
You forgot when Ricardo portrayed a Japanese Kabuki dancer(!) in Sayonara.
The second item, which you probably know by now: Patrick McGoohan kicked it today as well.
I had a moment of silence for both.

Eerie coincidences department: Only a few days ago I bought the first season of "Kim Possible" on DVD (before then I had only seen KP dubbed into German on TV) and watching the episodes with Senor Senior Senior (voice by Ricardo Montalban) left me thinking: Man, what a charmer the old guy still is. And that role falls into the pattern you describe - easily the most effective and the most suave of Kim Possible's villains.
