Lady Tarna that this is a boys only mission:

You know, I can think of
two very important clues that should have alerted Briane that this wasn't a "
lad."

Well this just proves that those Knights really WERE gentlemen...he obviously wasn't looking at her chest. Or listening to her voice. Or seeing her tiny little hand...or...oh forget it.
