Obviously, no one told Rozakis that Superman was dated, and didn't relate to the real world, and wasn't sufficiently young (or sufficiently broody!) to be popular in the modern marketplace!!
God, what a terrible, frightening world it must have been in 1979-80, if Superman really was one of the most popular fictional characters!!
