You don't need to snap the alien's neck, is the lesson of this week's Friday Night Fights.
Some of you kids are probably too young to remember Jemm, Son Of Saturn's original appearances. You probably only know the name from the CW Supergirl show, which a) made him a mass murderer, and b) had J'onn J'onzz snap his neck quicker than you can say "Zod!"
Sigh...
Anyway, in the real (fictional) world, Jemm was sorta kinda DC's version of Omega The Unknown--a mostly silent hero with a poorly-designed power set who hung around with an Earth child getting into trouble.
This time around, he's helping the waif find the scumbag who killed his grandfather, when Superman shows up and tries to calm everyone down...
SMASH!!!!
See, Kal-El, you don't have to snap someone's neck when they don't give up!!
Spacebooger would like to see Jemm Rebirth.
Aliens pacified by aliens from Jemm, Son Of Saturn #4 (1984), by Greg Potter, Gene Colan and Klaus Janson.
Now is the time for you to go and vote for my fight. Why? Because Jemm deserves not to have his neck snapped, that's why!! So vote!!

I thought that looked like Gene Colan! And seriously, neck snapping is just so dreary.
