It's reassuring to know that, no matter how much some of us revile the 1990s in comics history, there are certain things they could never ruin.
No matter what the obscene artwork trends that bedeviled other characters, no matter the idiotic retro-re-launch-boots craze that tarnished many a strip, some comic characters were immune to the ravages of that poor, benighted decade.
Like Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern. Yup, good old venerable, steady, down-to-earth Alan Scott. The 1990's could never sully his legacy. Right?
