The lower panel has Lex Luthor, Cutlass Charlie (yes, Aquaman only has lame villains), the Tattooed Man, Jason Woodrue (yes, he throws plants at people), and Doctor Destiny.
Fortunately, the Justice League pulls the old "switch up opponents" trick, which works pretty well...

...is for Green Lantern to sweep up.
Thank you, Mike Sekowsky & Sid Greene.

ReplyDelete"This anchor will hold you fast, Green Lantern!"
ReplyDeleteWTF? Is it mis-colored and supposed to be yellow? Because boy, it sure seems like GL should be able to effortlessly stop not just an anchor, but also a thrown houseplant and small bit of Kryptonite, all at the same time, without breaking a sweat...
The Tattooed Man retired soon after this story. Turns out "Beaten up by Snapper Carr" is a death sentence for your rep.
