What is the sky?
We have a god reason to ask that, as an airplane is rocked by a thunderstorm...
...and attacked by creatures!!
Now, in my head, the battle goes a little something like this...
But this is a low budget comic, so all we get is this:
Ah, well, close enough...
Meanwhile, in Eternity, we discover that great inventors don't stop inventing just because they're dead!
Marconi invented GPS!!!
So, um, how many great inventions are the dead hoarding up there in Eternity, eh?
Meanwhile, the
Kid arrives on the scene...but too late!
Zotar continues his planning...
...while Kid goes up to Eternity and questions the newly-deceased pilot.
Meanwhile, the aliens attack.
Again, in my head it goes like this:
Well, that's not too far off.
Wait...they attack Smallville?!?
We get many, many pages of alien carnage...
The aliens lose a man, but overall, they're not impressed by Earth weaponry.
The newly dead sheriff alerts Kid to the invasion.
Kid goes all postal on Zotar...
Dude, your just a kid!
Now, finally, in the very last panel of page 10, Kid finally summons someone to Earth:
Leonidas!! This is your second summoning!! (Great, now someone is going to think that it's OK to keep casting Gerard Butler as an action lead!)
And he brought friends...
Zotar takes off for reinforcements, because guys with swords are too tough...
...and Kid follows!
Sure, that sounds sorta science-y.
Kid shows up to pull a James T. Kirk on these flying dickweeds!
So much for "personal combat," eh, Kid?
This is the second time that the Three Musketeers have been called en masse, and it is the third appearance for Porthos!
Oh, and Kid's idea of personal combat continues to kind of leave out the "personal" part:
What follows are a lot of scenes of aliens getting squished by tanks!!
The aliens surrender...
...but only because they thought all Earthmen could do what Kid does!
And we finish on this note:
Ahhh, yess...
