Why Every Super-Hero Should Know Morse Code!

Terry Sloane--a.k.a. Mr. Terrific--is taking a walk in the park, when he notices:

A quick costume change--because obviously, reading Morse code is easier in costume--and Mr. T reads:

The crooks leaving the message attack him, and are quickly subdued, as Terrific figures out what is going on.

Well, Mr. Terrific deep knowledge of Morse code and grounds keeping serve him well:

Mr. Terrific is Jiminy Cricket!!

And by gum, it works!

Oh, don't worry--Mr. T is on hand to save Dekker from getting rubbed out.

So, anyway, Morse code--learn it today!! You can never tell whose life it might save!

  1. I'm certainly willing to do some suspension of disbelief, but this is SO far out there that I have to laugh. There are 26 characters in "Let your conscience be your guide", so if, on average, there are 2 dots/dashes for each character, Mr Terrific would have to leave at least 50 breadcrumbs.

Where did he get those breadcrumbs? And how long did it take to get them in the correct shapes, much less lay them out? Jeez.

    Yeah, I know, Golden Age.

  2. In fairness, there were *29* characters in the message the thieves originally left. So Terrific just had to rearrange the ones that were already there, and in the correct shapes.

    Plus, he's terrific.
