This is how we had to look at celebrities in the days before the internet:

Geez...and they're probably not even high def!

It is important that you see personalities in their "LATEST POSES," or else you friend will mock you. "Dude, that Susan Hayward picture is her in an OLD pose. You are lame and uncool, and cast out from our gang!" Or something like that.

Gazing at this list of 1954's "Top Movie and TV Personalities" is a bit sad, as the vast majority have passed on. Such is life. At least someone preserved their LATEST POSES for posterity...
