Friday Night Fights--The Longest Damn Fight EVER Style!!

I hoe you've got extra time on your hands, because we've got THE LONGEST FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT EVER for you today!

Scene: Hal Jordan wants Sector 2814 back. Guy Gardner refuses to give it up. Apparently, the only means to settle such a dispute is...

A no-holds-barred fist fight, no rings aloud.

No really, that's in the Book Of Oa (it must be, right?)!

So here we go...

YOW!!!

Spacebooger thinks the fight would have been better if G'Nort were included...

Epic beatdown presented by Gerard Jones, M.D. Bright and Romeo Tanghal in Green Lantern #25 (1992)

Now is the time to go and vote for my fight. Why? Quality AND quantity, dear consumer!! So go and vote!!

  1. The scan of Hal saying that his best hope is his BRAIN...just cracks me up. And of course the fact that he is fighting Guy when Guy was in his brain-damaged Child stage of life.

Hal was brutal. He was the one that picked the fight with Guy in the first place AND took his ring when he didn't have to. And the rest of the League was cheering him on!

Then Hal joined the League again and they discovered what a jerk he was. Granted, he was possessed by Parallax at this point, but...still!

  2. The results of THAT fight made THIS fight all the sweeter.

In fact, I had to immediately reread my post above to make myself feel better just now.

  3. Heh...I remember that. When John whupped Hal's beautiful behind in Mosaic.

I guess they thought that Hal was the hero in Green Lantern #25...but I was rooting for Guy the entire way.
