Keep your clothes on--it's time for Friday Night Fights!!!
Some alien lawmen have come to Earth, hunting for a fugitive from their planet who is hiding here. And when they don't get the results they want, they capture Superman, and...
OK, maybe that's a clue about these gentlemen's true nature.
Still, Batman is Batman. And he finds the fugitive. And she spins a pretty good yarn how she's the good guy and they're an oppressive dictatorship. And, largely because she's a beautiful woman, Batman believes her.
So what to do about the aliens in orbit?? Talk some Bat-Smack at them!
They accept, and it must be Festivus, because they proceed to demonstrate some feats of strength. Batman is not impressed...
OK, so time for a typical Bat-beatdown!!
WOO HOO!!
Wells, that's it, and...what? You want to know how Batman could do all that stuff? Well, obviously...
Ah, the old costume-switch chestnut!! (To finish Superman's long-winded explanation, he tossed an old Superman robot up there for them to "capture")...
Spacebooger is making a list of every time these two pulled this cross-dressing stunt in the Silver Age...
Denny O'Neill, Dick Dillin and Joe Giuella give us La Cage Aux Folles with punchin' in World's Finest Comics #211 (1972).
Now is the time for you to go and vote for my fight this week. Why? Because maybe that guy sitting next to you is Superman disguised as someone else, and he's going to kick your butt!! Probably not, of course. But why take that chance?
You really get the impression that Superman was...enjoying himself waaay to much.
