Friday Night Fights--Beach Party Style!!

This current bout of Friday Night Fights is Minimum Clonage--we can't re-use any fighters during these twelve rounds. So let's check my list so far:

Spider-Man
Judomaster
Marl Kincaid
T.H.E. Cat

Damn...I had a Judomaster/T.H.E. Cat tussle lined up.

Ah, well, then, I might as well use this week to answer a question we've all had--exactly how hard can Namor the Sub-Mariner punch?

Answer: pretty damn hard. For proof, let's take a quick look at Amazing Spider-Man #215 (1981), by Denny O'Neil, John Romita Jr. and Jim Mooney, shall we?

For reasons waaay to complex to explain here, Spider-Man and Namor are tracking down the Frightful Four:

So, how hard can Namor punch?

FOOMPF indeed. Exit Sandman.

How hard was that punch? Hard enough to make Flint Marko look like a model for the beach in the "before" part of Charles Atlas ads...

He went down like the Cavs in games 5 & 6 (sorry, Spacebooger!)

Why were Spidey & Subby fighting the Frightful Four? Whom did the losers get as their 4th member? Who is Peter Parker's new girlfriend? Well, to find out the answers to those questions, you're going to have to bop over to the Friday Night Fight site & vote for me this week. If I win, I'll tell you. (Editor's note--don't worry, folks--he'll tell you anyway on Sunday, no matter how you vote).

So vote--even though, as a king, Namor isn't a big fan of democracy...
