Nothing fancy this week. Just the Hulk getting the snot beat out of him.
This is when Hulk had Bruce Banner's mind, and was head of the Pantheon, that little "save the Earth" group. Banner had gone down to the Amazon to "have a little talk" with the head of a company that was tearing up huge chunks of the rainforest.
Instead, he comes across a mysterious construction worker...
Oh, Hulk gets a couple of licks in...
But nothing seems to stop this guy.
Hulk even traps him in quicksand...but that trick never works...
Down goes Banner!! Down goes Banner!!
Oh, yeah, right, our guys identity--it turns out that...
...he's the Juggernaut, working for the Red Skull!!
Oh, come on, surely you saw that one coming...I know Spacebooger did.
Hulk's beatdown is courtesy of Peter David, Jan Duursema and Mark Farmer in Incredible Hulk #402 (1993).

What wrong with Juggy's arm in the 2nd to last panel? That alone looks painful!
ReplyDeleteA) As Juggernaut is empowered by mystical means, normal muscular/skeletal functions do not apply.

B) Jan Duursema needed another anatomy lesson or three...
