Dan DiDio Obviously Missed This One...

What? Oh. Never mind.

Seriously, though...did Mort Weisinger really believe that the readers of a comic book couldn't handle the concept of secret identities? If readers could handle the fact that Kal-El, Clark, Superman, and Nightwing were "all names for the same person", why couldn't they do the same for Kara's names? Or is he suggesting that Supergirl readers are stupider than Superman readers??
